I recently came across this adorable DIY tutorial from Ashley at Sugar & Cloth to make your very own Paint Swatch Flower Garland out of nothing but paint swatches. Not only is it totally unique + insanely clever, but it's also super cheap, considering paint swatches are usually given out for free at most hardware stores!
In her post Ashley said: "What makes a good DIY a great DIY? When it’s free. This way it’s no harm, no foul if you accidentally mess it up or decide you hate it. To top it all off, these DIY paint swatch flowers fold up when you’re finished using them! Free, easy, storable, can you ask for more? The most these could cost you is a few weird glances from the paint counter guy, and I can deal with that for the sake of good craft or two."
I don't know about you, but knowing that it's so easy to acquire the materials I need makes this a wee-bit more interesting!
Besides the paint swatches, you'll also need brads for securing the swatch flowers and some twine. It's just that easy!
