Olympic Ring DIY + Dessert Table

As I sit here writing this post, I'm sitting in my living room, watching the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London! The Canadian team has just walked in + I felt a total wave of national pride!

I'm so excited to share this amazing Olympic DIY! It's only fitting, right? Bird's Party has this amazing tutorial on how you can make your very own Olympic rings! All you need are some polystyrene wreaths, crepe paper, scissors, and glue! It's never been easier!

This tutorial was originally created to match Bird's Party's Olympic Dessert Table that you can see here! Here's a bit of what its creator had to say: "Although the Olympics takes place in London this year, and I am especially proud; I wanted to design a "universal" Olympics Party Printable Collection so it could be used every year, no matter where it's help [sic] at in the world.

As such, the colors I chose for the designs were based on the Olympic rings: blue, black, red, yellow and green. Olympics sports also helped to inspire me in designing the printables, and little sporty icons were used throughout the printable collection in the same colors."

It's almost essential now that you throw yourself an Olympic party! Let's celebrate international unity!
